CARLA VERNÓN
Chief Executive Officer
Carla Vernón has served as a Board Director and Chief Executive Officer of The Honest Company (NASDAQ: HNST), a purpose-driven personal care company since January 2023. She brings more than 25 years of experience scaling iconic consumer brands, leading business transformations, and building high-performing, values-driven teams. As one of the first Afro-Latine/o/a CEOs of a U.S. publicly traded company, her leadership reflects the diversity of Honest’s consumers and the values that guide the brand.
Prior to Honest, Carla served as Vice President of Consumables Categories at Amazon. In this role, she held full profit and loss responsibility and led supply chain and technology teams for Everyday Essentials across Amazon.com. Previously, she was a Corporate Officer and President of the Natural and Organic Operating Unit at General Mills, where she helped scale the business into the second-largest manufacturer of organic food and advance its regenerative agriculture efforts.
Carla holds an A.B. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University, where she is a former Trustee, and an MBA from The University of Texas. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) and on the Board of Trustees for the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino.

Curtiss Bruce
Chief Financial Officer
Curtiss Bruce joined The Honest Company as Chief Financial Officer in June 2025, bringing over three decades of finance experience across leading consumer packaged goods companies. As CFO, Curtiss leads Honest’s Finance, Accounting, and Investor Relations teams, focused on delivering long-term profitable growth through operational excellence and financial discipline.
Prior to Honest, Curtiss served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis and Investor Relations at The Hain Celestial Group, where he modernized financial systems and enhanced investor engagement. He previously held senior finance roles at Keurig Dr Pepper, Kellogg, Kraft Heinz, and Mars, supporting both billion-dollar brands and emerging businesses. Curtiss holds an MBA in finance and supply chain from Penn State University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.

Brendan Sheehey
General Counsel
Brendan Sheehey has served as our General Counsel since June 2020, where he is responsible for leading our legal team, setting legal strategy and overseeing key deals and relationships across product, regulatory, commercial, international expansions, privacy, IP, policy and compliance. Prior to joining Honest, Sheehey served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Targus International LLC, where he led the company’s legal department and oversaw its corporate governance. Prior to joining Targus, Sheehey also held in-house counsel roles at Arbonne International LLC and Corinthian Colleges, and counseled clients while at Sidley Austin LLP. He holds a B.A. in Geography from U.C. Santa Barbara, an M.A. in Geography from the University of South Carolina and a J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.Brendan Sheehey

Steve Winchell
Chief Innovation Officer
Steve Winchell has served as our Chief Innovation Officer since September 2024. Prior to that he served as our Executive Vice President, Operations and R&D since June 2022 where he is responsible for further integrating our supply chain and R&D processes. Prior to joining Honest, Winchell worked for The Parent Company, where he served as the Executive Vice President of Product. In this role, Winchell played an integral role in taking the company public in 2021. During his time at The Parent Company, Winchell established and managed the end-to-end innovation, new product process and developed the company’s strategy to diversify its product portfolio. Prior to The Parent Company, Winchell spent over 14 years at The Clorox Company where he held multiple roles in managing Burt’s Bees, Cleaning Division’s R&D, International R&D and Home Care Product Development. He also led the process development department, new product development process, and was involved in multiple supply chain initiatives.

Dorria L. Ball
Chief People Officer
Dorria L. Ball is the Chief People Officer (CPO) of The Honest Company, serving in this role since January 2024. As CPO, she is responsible for leading the People & Workplace function of the company, charged with shepherding Honest’s purpose-driven culture. With over 20 years of U.S. and global human resources experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, Dorria is a highly sought-after executive coach and an experienced leader. This expertise, coupled with her confident and kind-hearted leadership style, brought her to Honest in her original role as interim Chief People Officer in late 2023. Before joining Honest, Dorria was the founder and president of Global Ballance Group, specializing in leadership and organizational development for C-Suite executives from Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that work, she held Vice President of Human Resources roles at Mondelez and Kraft Foods, where she served as the HR Business Leader for groups including U.S. Sales, Latin America, and Global Diversity. Throughout her career, Dorria has lent her talents to purpose-centered non-profit boards, including The Network of Executive Women and Dress for Success Worldwide. Dorria graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington and holds executive coaching certifications from Columbia University and the International Coach Federation.

Jonathan Mayle
Senior Vice President, Customer Sales
Jonathan Mayle has served as our Senior Vice President, Customer Sales since December 2023. From August 2023 to December 2023, Mr. Mayle served as the Company’s Vice President, Customer Sales. Before joining us, from August 2012 to August 2023, Mr. Mayle held multiple sales roles at General Mills, working with industry leading retailers such as Walmart Inc., a multinational retail corporation, from October 2018 to October 2020, Target Corporation, a retail corporation, from August 2021 to August 2023 and Dollar General Corporation, a chain of hypermarkets, from November 2014 to February 2016. While at General Mills, he also served as head of sales for the internal start-up accelerator incubator, G-Works, the internal venture studio of Gold Metal Ventures from December 2020 to August 2021. Tom Sternweis
Senior Vice President of Enterprise Development and Strategy
Thomas Sternweis has served as our Senior Vice President of Enterprise Development and Strategy since March 2024. Prior to that he had served as Vice President of Enterprise Development and Strategy since May 2023. At Honest, Mr. Sternweis was also Vice President and General Manager of Emerging Business and Marketplace from March 2022 to May 2023, and Senior Director of Strategic Development from January 2018 to March 2022. Prior to joining us, from July 2014 to January 2018, Mr. Sternweis held roles in Corporate Development and Strategy at Mattel, Inc., (“Mattel”), a toy manufacturing and entertainment company, where he supported M&A, strategic partnerships, and Asia Pacific strategy. Prior to joining Mattel, from July 2011 to July 2014, Mr. Sternweis held roles at the Boston Consulting Group, a strategic management consulting firm, and at a private equity firm in New York. Etienne von Kunssberg
Senior Vice President, Supply Chain
Etienne von Kunssberg has served as our Senior Vice President of Supply Chain since February 2025. In this role, von Kunssberg oversees global operations and drives strategic initiatives that supports Honest’s commitment to cleanly-formulated and sustainably-designed products. Reporting directly to CEO Carla Vernón, von Kunssberg plays a key role in both daily operations and long-term growth.
With over two decades of experience in supply chain and business management, von Kunssberg previously held senior leadership roles at Dole Packaged Foods and Henkel and brings extensive experience from his tenure at Procter & Gamble and Coty. Originally from France, he relocated to the United States 12 years ago and has worked in companies of various sizes and locations. Von Kunssberg’s international background strengthens Honest's supply chain and elevates the brand. He earned his MBA in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Paris School of Business.

Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing & Communications
Brenna Israel Mast leads The Honest Company’s integrated marketing and communications strategy, focused on strengthening brand equity and advancing the company’s reputation with key stakeholders. As Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing & Communications, she oversees paid media, public relations, social and influencer marketing, and creative, as well as Honest.com and customer service, ensuring alignment across brand storytelling, performance, and the end-to-end consumer experience.
Brenna joined Honest in 2015 and has played a key role in shaping the company’s brand and corporate narrative through major business milestones and periods of transformation. Prior to joining Honest, Brenna oversaw global public relations at Murad (Unilever Prestige), where she was responsible for founder visibility and communication, media relations, and influencer partnerships. Earlier in her career, Brenna held positions at various global public relations firms, primarily focused on consumer products in the health, wellness, and beauty industries. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
