Mallory McMahon is Senior Vice President of Research and Innovation at The Honest Company, leading Honest's strategic innovation pipeline and product portfolio across all categories. She was promoted to Senior Vice President in August 2026 after serving as Vice President of Research and Innovation since June 2024. Reporting directly to CEO Carla Vernón, she oversees formulation, packaging, engineering, safety, claims, and product compliance from ideation through launch, ensuring technical excellence while aligning Honest’s innovation strategy with its long-term growth plans.

Since joining Honest in 2017 as a Senior Chemist, Mallory has played a key role in advancing Honest’s innovation strategy. She helped shape the Honest Standard, Honest’s product pillars, and its NO List, while leading development of many of Honest’s best-selling baby and adult skin care products. Prior to joining Honest, Mallory began her career at Lubrizol Advanced Materials, where she developed and launched new polymer technology platforms for skin and sun care. She later joined Seed Beauty as a formulator focused on color cosmetics and new brand incubation. Mallory holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Master of Science in polymer chemistry from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
