Juneteenth Block Party. During the Fireside Chat, Our Founder, Jessica Alba and our Board Chair, James D. White, discussed his life as detailed in his latest book, “Anti-Racist Leadership: How to Transform Corporate Culture in a Race- Conscious World.” James D. White shared his career journey, career tips, challenges he faced and experiences that led him to writing the book with his daughter. We highly recommend reading this inspiring book. After the Fireside Chat, we celebrated Black culture and excellence at the Juneteenth Block Party and invited local Black-owned businesses to join. We enjoyed food, sweet treats, refreshing drinks and many more! It was an incredible turn out and we can’t wait to start planning for next year’s event. We sincerely thank the B.L.A.C. council and our leaders for making these events possible."
